SKIN REVITALIZATION WITH PICOSURE®
Montilla Plastic Surgery is lucky to have one of the few PicoSure® Lasers by CynoSure in the state! Known for its technological advances for use in multiple procedures, the PicoSure®’s breakthrough Focus Lens Array can also be used in a laser facial treatment to generate laser-induced breakdowns (LIOB) in the epidermis.

LIOBs cause pressure waves which spread into the dermis, activating cell signaling and initiating an enhanced inflammatory healing response. This leads to increased collagen and elastin but without thermal injury as seen in other lasers.
“I have experienced micro-needling before and although it was fabulous, the downtime is much longer than the laser facial,” said Lyria Garcia, a professional photographer and patient at Montilla Plastic Surgery. “With the laser, the downtime was nothing and my face was radiant the next day. It visibly reduced my wrinkles, firmed my skin, and reduced the appearance of my pores in just one treatment. I have done Botox, but won’t do it again because the laser results last longer.
